Raymond Mark II was born on April 23, 1976, to Leslie and Dorcas Mark in Coffeyville, KS. Raymond grew up in Wann, OK in the country. He attended Wann public school and then graduated from Oklahoma Union in 1994. Shortly after graduating he joined the Army.

Raymond departed his life on February 18, 2022, in Independence KS. Survivors are his only child Steven Mark of Oregon. Both parents Leslie and Dorcas Mark of Wann, OK; four brothers Eric and Kristen Mark of Neveda, MO, Leslie and Danielle Mark of Shell Knob, MO, Justin and Stacy Mark of Clarinda IA, Melvin and Lisa Mark of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces. Raymond was preceded in death by his grandparents Obe and Reva Alston of Caney, KS, Raymond and Doris Mark of Fairview, MO
