Edward Wilson Davis Jr., 60, of Independence, Kansas formally of Baltimore, Maryland passed away at his home in Independence, Kansas on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
Ed was born October 30, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland to Edward Wilson Davis Sr. and Barbara Jane (Carlo) Davis. Ed attended and graduated from Baltimore schools. Ed moved to Independence, Kansas and was employed by Standard Motor Products in Independence, Kansas until his passing.
Ed loved military and military history and loved his country. He enjoyed building model tanks and military scenes. Ed was an accomplished carpenter, an amazing drummer and loved spending time with his family.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, one nephew, Shawn Edward Davis five aunts and uncles. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara Davis, Independence, Kansas; two sisters, Sandra Lynn Davis, Dundalk, MD; Christine Davis-Schaffer, Rosedale, MD; Cousin Jim Luttrell, Glenburnie, MD; Special friend Barbara Carnagey, Independence, KS; two grandchildren, Paizlee Hope Carnagey and Beckett Lee Eby, two nephews Robert Edward Shaffer 3rd, Jacob Weaver, one niece Emily Weaver and a great nephew Luca Suter and many other extended family and friends.
